Donald Trump was extremely adamant about a number of his campaign promises in 2016, but none was more certain than his vow to construct a wall on the border between the U.S. and Mexico.
You see, Trump understands something that the democrats may never fully realize: Our nation is a nation of laws, without which we could disintegrate into a dystopian hellscape of entitlement, crime, drug lords, and a lack of order that would make even those most ardent anarchists cower under their beds.
And, believe me, this is no knock on the people of Mexico. This is merely a valid concern about those who exploit our lax border for their own nefarious purposes.
By working in the United States illegally, undocumented immigrants are an unnecessary strain on our tax system, and therefore, the economy.
Furthermore, the prevalence of drug cartel violence in Mexican border states has been spilling over into American with far too high a frequency as of late. Any structural advantage that we can give ourselves to thwart these monsters will be welcomed by those living in Texas, Arizona, and other locales who’ve witnessed the abhorrent actions of these maniacal pushers.
The wall itself isn’t merely a wall, either, and testing of prototypes have been ongoing for months. Now, the latest incarnation of security construction has been assaulted by U.S. Commandos, and the results are shocking.
“Recent assaults by tactical teams on prototypes of President Donald Trump’s proposed wall with Mexico indicate their imposing heights should stop border crossers, a U.S. official with direct knowledge of the rigorous assessment told The Associated Press.
“Military special forces based in Florida and U.S. Customs and Border Protection special units spent three weeks trying to breach and scale the eight models in San Diego, using jackhammers, saws, torches and other tools and climbing devices, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the information was not authorized for public release.
“A Customs and Border Protection report on the tests identifies strengths and flaws of each design but does not pick an overall winner or rank them, though it does point to see-through steel barriers topped by concrete as the best overall design, the official said.”
In other words: These border walls will likely do their intended job. And then some.
Now it will be a matter of finally getting the liberal politicians of American to recognize the necessity of a more refined border security plan…something that has proven difficult in the past.
