Bombshell! Trump Pulls Funding from the U.N. and Palestinians

President Donald Trump is getting fed up with the terror-loving “Palestinians,” so much so that he has just pulled millions in funding from a United Nations agency that gives a lot of aide to Palestinians. And with that move he once again shows why so many Americans love him.

This week, the Trump administration announced that it was cutting in half the amount of money the Obama administration promised to the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). On January 16, Trump reported that he was releasing only $60 million of the promised more than $125 million Obama scheduled for delivery.

The rest was held back pending a State Department review of UNRWA’s work among the Palestinian refugees it is supposed to be aiding, the L.A. Times reported.

America contributed a whopping $355 million to UNRWA in 2016 and Obama promised that the U.S. would match that donation this year.

On its website, the UN agency claims it helps provide education, medical care, and other social services to the Palestinians, and has done so since 1949. But, while UNRWA is not connected directly to the terror groups that run the Palestinian Authority (PLA), it has been caught doing the PLA’s bidding over and over again.

Whatever UNRWA does or does not do, the Palestinians aren’t appreciative of the agency that is funded chiefly by the U.S.A. The announcement of the cut in funding came after a pair of tweets by the president who said that the so-called Palestinians show no “respect or appreciation” for the billions we’ve sent them.

Trump’s government says that UNRWA is untrustworthy. U.S. Ally Israel agrees.

Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, said on Tuesday: “UNRWA has proven time and again to be an agency that misuses the humanitarian aid of the international community and instead supports anti-Israel propaganda, perpetuates the plight of Palestinian refugees and encourages hate.

“Just over the last year alone, UNRWA officials were elected to the leadership of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, UNRWA schools denied the existence of Israel, and terror tunnels were dug under UNRWA facilities. It is time for this absurdity to end and for humanitarian funds to be directed toward their intended purpose – the welfare of refugees,” he added.

Interestingly, the State Department told reporters this week that it had leaned toward cutting all U.S. funding to UNRWA, but was convinced not to by several Arab states that feared more unrest.

Naturally the Palestinian leader is crying foul over the massive cut in his bribe money. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was recently heard screaming, “damn your money.”

UN officials are also unhappy.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Pierre Krähenbühl added that the cut in funds “threatens one of the most successful and innovative human development endeavors in the Middle East.”

… and to all that, every right thinking American says, “so what?”

This move is what makes Trump a beloved figure to millions of Americans.

Trump is right. The so-called “Palestinians” are nothing but terrorists and they do not in any way deserve the billions U.S. taxpayers have given them. The only sad thing about this massive cut in funds is that the Trump administration didn’t follow its first instinct and cut off all funds to UNRWA.

The United States should not be aiding and abetting terrorism and sending even one dime of our tax dollars to the PLA is direct support for terrorism, whether it goes to the PLA itself or the compliant, terror-abetting United Nations.

Until the PLA renounces terror and turns away from its long-held goal of Jewish genocide, they do not deserve our largess.
