Kim Jong Un

Bloomberg Plays Puppeteer to Kim Jong Un

Media bias is well documented and exposed in these times, thanks to the internet.

But sometimes the propaganda is so blatant it causes you to do a double take. Such as this whopper from Bloomberg News:

SPECTER OF QUADAFFI HAUNTS NORTH KOREA TALKS

Trending: Tomi Lahren Assaulted in Minneapolis Bar as “Tolerant” Left Rages

The article invents from whole cloth the narrative that talks between President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un are in jeopardy because Kim fears being murdered like Qaddafi:

“Kim Jong Un does not fancy being another Muammar Qaddafi.

North Korea watched on in caution and then horror as the Libyan leader accepted a U.S. deal to dismantle his nuclear regime in return for sanctions relief, because it turns out there was no lifetime guarantee: In 2011 he was killed by NATO-backed rebels, with ignominious images of his bloodied body going viral on social media.

For Kim, the episode highlights the perils of accepting assurances from the U.S. in return for handing over his weapons.

So the championing by U.S. President Donald Trump’s National Security Adviser John Bolton of a “Libyan model” for North Korean disarmament was never going to go down well.”

The article includes a link attached to the phrase “Un does not fancy,” which connects to another article by Bloomberg. If you open the link expecting to learn the basis of their assertion Kim fears a Qaddafi-like assassination if he negotiates disarmament with President Trump you will be disappointed. They offer no proof, no quotes, and no backup documentation of any kind.

It is nothing more than propaganda of the lowest order, Bloomberg “News” working Kim like a puppet master, putting words in his mouth.

Even more laughable than this fake news is what they conveniently don’t say. The brutal murder of Qaddafi, the same fate they claim Kim fears because of the Trump Administration, came at the hands of the Obama Administration, specifically his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

One wonders – if Hillary had won the election and was about to attend the disarmament talks with N. Korea, would Bloomberg push the same “Kim is terrified” meme, considering that, unlike with President Trump, an undeniable link from Hillary to the murder of Qaddafi actually exists?

Actually, one doesn’t wonder, one knows. The article would never be written.

Then again, if Hillary was president there wouldn’t be any disarmament talks to begin with. Three U.S. citizens would still be imprisoned, we’d be dropping sanctions, cancelling inspection tours, and sending Kim pallets loaded with cash to aid in his plutonium enrichment and rocket building programs.

And the Clinton Foundation would gain a new donor.
