A supporter/agitator with the Black Lives Matter movement vandalized Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. with the spray-painted messages “Black Lives Matter” and “No Justice, No Peace.”
The vandalism was caught on camera and posted to social media:
When CNN reported on the vandalism, they seemed to justify it, or at least insinuate that the Republican nominee “had it coming,” because he’s a racist. Here’s how they reported it:
The vandalism comes in the heat of a racially charged presidential contest. Hillary Clinton, who has met with Black Lives Matter protesters, said in their presidential debate last week that Trump “has a long record of engaging in racist behavior.”
She also famously declared that half of Trump’s supporters are part of a “basket of deplorables” — including racists.
Trump, meanwhile, has inflamed racial tensions by retweeting false crime statistics about African-Americans, comparing largely black inner cities to Afghanistan and claiming that African-Americans face their worst conditions “ever, ever, ever.”He also rose to political prominence by pushing birtherism — the bogus and racially-fueled theory that President Barack Obama was born outside the United States.
While CNN tried to make it seem as though Hillary has this great rapport with Black Lives Matter all because she “met with protesters,” the truth is they’re largely anti-Hillary. Remember during the Democratic National Convention, and Black Lives Matter protesters were chanting, “Don’t vote for Hillary! She’s killing black people!”
Earlier this year at a private event where attendees had to pay $500 to get in, a couple of Black Lives Matter protesters held up a sign referencing a 1996 quote from Hillary Clinton about how inner city youths who grow up to be in gangs are “super-predators.” Regarding these “super-predators,” Hillary said in 1996, “We have to bring them to heel.” At this private campaign event, these two protesters demanded an apology from Hillary, but they were removed from the event.
