When people do things controversial, we have to determine what their motives are. Are we for their action and reasons or are we against these reasons? This should not be determined by what they later say or do, but one the event.
Now, we have an excellent example of a political hack. Bill Maher always has
been one step from mindless, but now we see that he is also hypocritical.
The Hill reports
HBO host Bill Maher says although he supports Colin Kaepernick’s protest of racial injustice, the NFL player is an “idiot.”
Maher says that though he supported Kaepernick’s protest that he should “Stick to what he knows: kneeling and interceptions, and then look up “false equivalency”
Now this is harsh. Maher had previously wholeheartedly supported the kneeling of Kaepernick. He had made the point that people had died to give him the right to kneel. But, apparently not to speak. The reason for the Tweet is that Maher does not like what Kaepernick had to say about the debates on Monday.
The Hill continues
Kaepernick on Tuesday said it was “embarrassing” to watch Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in the first presidential debate.”
“Both are proven liars, and it seems like they’re trying to debate who’s less racist,” he added, according to USA Today.
“And at this point … you have to pick the lesser of two evils. But in the end, it’s still evil.”
And since Maher carries water for the Democrats, he could not let this stand. He had to minimize the damage. So, now the great hero of free speech is an idiot. The man that had a right to kneel just a month ago should now stick to football because he does not like what he had to say.
Flip flop much Mr. Maher?
