The democrats once believed that the worst outcome of the 2016 election would have been the election of President Trump. Boy were they wrong.
In the year that has passed since the American people shoved back against an encroaching Washington establishment by selecting Donald Trump to lead us, the democrats have been doing some serious soul searching. Some of that inward journey has been undertaken from their own curiosity, but, as of late, these lunatic leftists have been thrust forth into a myriad of uncomfortable self examinations by former DNC chair Donna Brazile’s new book.
Not only did Brazile dedicate her book to Seth Rich, a former DNC staffer who was mysteriously murdered after being linked to anti-Hillary email leaks, but the once-head honcho of the organization outlined a systemic “hostile takeover” of the entire DNC by Hillary Clinton and her campaign cronies.
Through all of this, slighted democratic rival to Clinton, Bernie Sanders, has remained silent on the sidelines.
That is, until now.
“Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in an interview late Wednesday declined to answer a question about whether he believes the 2016 Democratic presidential primary was ‘rigged.’
“’Look, Donna Brazile showed an enormous amount of courage in describing the truth as she saw it when she came into the leadership of the DNC,’ Sanders told CNN’s ‘Anderson Cooper 360,’ referring to the Democratic National Committee and its former interim chair, when asked about the claim.
“’I don’t think there’s any sane human being who doesn’t believe that my campaign was taking on the entire establishment, including the DNC.’”
Another inference could be made from Sanders’ somewhat mystifying and carefully worded statement as well.
By touting Brazile’s “extreme courage”, Sanders could be making an extremely subtle reference to the inordinate amount of Hillary Clinton’s political enemies who find themselves on the wrong end of tragedy. Seth Rich was certainly not the first foe of the Clinton regime to find their fate in a mysterious and sudden encounter, and, according to Bernie’s possible warning, he certainly won’t be the last.
