There are few things more delightful in 2018 than the utter implosion of the long-doomed democratic party, all signaled well ahead of time by the corruption of Hillary Clinton.
The former First Lady has long been considered one of Washington’s most vile swamp creatures, stopping at nothing in order to elicit her own horrific results from whatever situation is presented to her. During her time as Secretary of State under former President Barack Hussein Obama, this self-serving slug took her entire schtick up about 4 notches as well, installing a “pay to play” scheme within the once-vaunted organization.
While acting as one of the top diplomats in the world, Clinton would insist on foreign dignitaries making massive contributions to her private Clinton Foundation in order to secure an audience with her in an official capacity within the State Department.
And this was only a small piece of the corruption puzzle for Clinton, who was also responsible for a massive national security scandal when it was discovered that she was harboring top secret government emails on her own secret server, compromising any hope for discretion by the State Department.
Now it has become readily apparent that Hillary and her campaign cohorts were also explicitly involved with the Russian government during the 2016 election, having worked closely with the authors of the now-infamous “Steele Dossier” in an attempt to end the political career of eventual President Donald Trump.
For this newly discovered sin, former primary rival Bernie Sanders is giving Clinton a piece of his mind.
“Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) said Wednesday that he did not know at the time that Russian trolls promoted his 2016 presidential campaign and wondered why Hillary Clinton’s team did not do more to tell voters about the extent of Russia’s election interference.
“In addition to their well-known efforts to boost Donald Trump, Russian trolls supported Sanders’ presidential primary campaign, when he mounted a surprisingly strong but ultimately unsuccessful challenge to Clinton, according to special counsel Robert Mueller’s indictment from last week.
“Mueller’s team indicted 13 Russian nationals and three companies for interfering in U.S. elections from 2014 to 2016.”
The real issue, says Sanders, has to do with the Clinton Campaign’s perceived obsolescence.
“The interviewer asked Sanders why he and his campaign did not tell his supporters about Russian interference if they knew Moscow was meddling to sow divisions.
“‘I would say that the real question to be asked is what was the Clinton campaign—they had more information about this than we did, and at this point, we were working with them,’ he responded.”
Bernie’s throwing of shade at Clinton comes just 15 months after Hillary was wholly annihilated by Donald Trump during the 2016 election, amidst a perceived pact between the two democratic deities.
That accord was cited by many Bernie Sanders supporters as a “hostile takeover” or a case of bribery, that left a horrible taste in the mouth of young democrats everywhere. This recent development also raises new questions regarding Sanders’ plans for 2020.
