In our nation today, a violent surge is rising from the left, like a progressive tsunami of social justice. Instead of crashing on the coast, however, it is rolling inward, swallowing the heartland of America.
This tide of trouble is the progression of the lunatic left from meager politicos to radicalized terrorists over the course of the still-young Trump Era. The triggering they suffered at the defeat of democratic candidate Hillary Clinton sent them into a spiral of despair, the likes of which was cringe-inducing to watch. Might I remind you of the time that the liberals gathered together to shout “no” at Donald Trump’s inauguration?
Unfortunately, however, the left didn’t stay quite so hilariously harmless, having quickly escalated their ideologies in order to recruit new “soldiers” in their war against conservative Americans and patriots across this country. Now, their favorite terror faction, Antifa, has returned to the spotlight, and, based on the violence in their rhetoric, they don’t plan on leaving it anytime soon.
An antifa group in Los Angeles celebrated May Day by holding a small march, hanging a Trump effigy, and advocating for “revolutionary violence” against the “capitalist state” in order to “create real political power.”
“We must carry out military actions against the enemies of the people!” a member of the L.A. cell of the Red Guards said in a speech published on the group’s blog.
The Red Guards is a Maoist group that hopes to duplicate in the United States the anarchy and terror Chairman Mao’s Red Guards inflicted on China during the Cultural Revolution of the 1960s and 1970s. The group also identifies as “antifascist” and has cells throughout the United States.
This despicable behavior has been permeating our society for far too long, with celebrities such as Kathy Griffin and Snoop Dogg openly advocating for political violence directed at the President on three occasions between the two of them. Shortly after one of the more gruesome of these invitations, the radical left sprung into action with a former Bernie Sanders campaign worker attempting to gun down the entire GOP charity baseball team at a practice field in Virginia.
Without the willingness to stand up and stay “this is not right”, the moderate left is quite likely culpable in this violence as well, having silently cheered and approved by abstaining from any judgment at all.
