The democratic party has long been extremely adept at manipulating the youth of America, thanks to their reliance on emotionality and guilt as weapons of political war.
If you are unsure of the validity of this statement, you may need to pay a little better attention to the media cycle immediately following any tragedy in America. Oil spill? We immediately get dragged into a debate about clean energy, and are bombarded with pictures of maimed and filthy sea life. Mass shooting? Suddenly, guns are sending telepathic messages to young men, ordering them to slay their peers or coworkers. And, of course, the moment we have any hurricane, flood, or severe thunderstorm, outdated Al Gore quotes start littering our social media newsfeeds.
So when the democrats put their millennial army to work on obstructing the law enforcement officers of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, it was only going to be a matter of time before something went totally awry. In this case, it was the damage done by the democratically-driven protesters that provided the black eye.
The mayor’s office confirmed to FOX 12, the city will pay for a portion of the cleanup bill, as will TriMet. Both are part of the consortium that owns the land on which protesters set up their camp.
Frank Savage, who lives across the street from the site, says, “It was pretty disgusting that that’s how they were living back there.”
Where protesters once stood, now trash litters the ground. But Savage says he’s relieved for things to go back to normal.
“Getting tired of waking up to the bullhorn and the sounds and the cussing,” he said.
The small scale protest, that was hardly worth covering for much of the media world, was finally broken up by police after the Mayor of Portland’s orders to vacate were routinely ignored by the entitled, upper class crowd.
