I understand why the liberal left is so viscerally angry with the idea of Donald Trump being President, but I’m having one heck of a time reconciling how violent they’ve become about it.
Donald Trump represents a real threat to the way democrats have been conducting themselves over the course of the last few decades, and we all know how well the democrats respond to even the slightest unexpected stimuli.
Trump is aiming to not only neuter the politically liberal narrative of the Democratic Party, but he’s also threatening to unravel the wool blanket that the Deep State has thrown over the eyes of the American people. If he were to be successful, he’d be exposing everything wrong with the progressive hive mind, and essentially eviscerating the organization as a whole. So, yes, the democrats do have some solid reasoning for their “resistance”, if we’re speaking from a solely self-serving point of view.
But that doesn’t mean that they haven’t gone overboard. They most certainly have, with pathetic publicity stunts coming from the likes of Kathy Griffin and Snoop Dogg, in which the pair separately created visages of a deceased Donald Trump in order to stoke the fires of the left’s radicalization. The worst part is that it worked, with hardcore alt-left terrorists such as James T. Hodgkinson having already fired the opening salvo of bullets in the New Civil War.
“The news that the shooter had a list of names suggests the shooting was not a random outburst, but instead appears to be a premeditated political assassination.
“The list was written out on notepad paper and found in the shooter’s pocket, according to multiple sources with intimate knowledge of the situation, who spoke on condition of anonymity, citing the sensitivity of the investigation. The list of names included Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks, South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan and Arizona Rep. Trent Franks, TheDC has confirmed. Fox News reported after this story that Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, Tennessee Rep. Scott DesJarlais and Virginia Rep. Morgan Griffith are also on the list. All six congressmen are members of the House Freedom Caucus, which contains the lower chamber’s most conservative members.”
Now, one of 2020’s most likely candidates to lose to Donald Trump is getting in on the “I hope the President dies” bandwagon with her own snide comments.
How on earth does Kamala Harris believe that this is an appropriate response, especially given that the political decorum of the United States is, right now, less intact than the table manners at a Taco Bell?
While we still have a year or so before 2020’s campaigning begins in earnest, bookmarking this video might come in handy should Harris decide to run after all.
