With the nation seemingly dissolving into violence, it sadly comes as no surprise that the police force in America has been besieged.
The warring factions of social justice cliques have long held sway over the liberal left of the American political spectrum. Their incessant effort to weaponize political correctness and outlaw hurt feelings has turned violent after a frustrating few decades of going against the grain of a free society. Where our Constitution protects our words and our beliefs, the left sees a problem: They get offended by reality. Their hopes are to reorient this reality to better suit themselves at the expense of the American Dream.
One such reality that has been distorted by the left is the important role of police in our society. These brave men and women have been wildly attacked by the radical left, namely the Black Lives Matter hate group, for a number of incidents in which the racial difference between the officers and the perpetrators has fallen into the opportunistic hands of their propagandists. This has created an unhealthy and unethical disdain for police that Black Lives Matter has refused to smother, mostly because their violent outbursts at the expense of these brave officers is what keeps them in business.
Now, as that sentiment continues to percolate, police officers in America have faced another deadly night.
“In Pennsylvania, two state troopers were shot outside a small-town store in Fairchance, south of Pittsburgh. State police say the troopers, both taken to hospitals after the Friday night shooting in Fairchance, were in stable condition.
“One officer was killed and another gravely injured late Friday night in Kissimmee in central Florida just south of the theme park hub of Orlando. Kissimmee Police Chief Jeff O’Dell said at a news conference Saturday that a suspect, Everett Miller, was arrested several hours after the shootings.
“The other two officers were injured a couple of hours later in Jacksonville, one of them shot in both hands and the other in the stomach. The shooter in Jacksonville was shot and killed when police returned fire.
“In Kissimmee, officers Sam Howard and Matthew Baxter were checking suspects in an area of the city for drug activity when they were shot, O’Dell said earlier. They did not have an opportunity to return fire.”
In the case of the Kissimmee incident, authorities believe that the officers were likely ambushed.
This war on police has been part of a disturbing trend in which the radical left and Black Lives Matter employ selective rage to target authorities. It is truly a despicable aspect of American society, yet the mainstream media continues to promote the values of these miscreants.
