AMERICA HAS SPOKEN: Trump’s Approval Rating Versus Obama

Ladies and gentlemen, perhaps it is time to officially declare that the hysteria around former President Barack Obama’s legacy is officially kaput.

The liberal left saw Obama as some sort of biblical figure, poised to revolutionize the way that the democrats interact with the rest of the world, and lead us into a progressive utopia of free everything for everybody.

Of course, just as it has always wound up, nothing of the sort occurred.  Obama instead handed Iran the keys to a nuclear future, refused to diplomatically engage with North Korea, had a hard time even admitting that radical Islamic terror was real, and then blew his own healthcare plan so badly that Americans are going broke just trying to cure a case of the sniffles.

Let’s just admit it, leftists:  Obama hoodwinked you.  Remember, admitting that you have a problem is the first step toward recovery.

Now, amid even all of these revelations about the poor efficacy of the democratic demagogue, President Trump is soaring past #44 in approval, proving that Americans are ready to act American again.

Amid the constant storm of bad press, controversy and #resistance outrage, President Trump has seen his approval numbers climb — in fact, according to Rasmussen, he’s outpacing President Obama at the same stage in his presidency.

Rasmussen’s latest numbers from its daily tracking poll are the best Trump’s seen in a while. As of August 2, 50% of U.S. Voters approve of Trump’s job performance, while 49% disapprove.

Though he’s currently got the edge on overall approval, he’s still behind when it comes to those who feel “strongly” about his performance in office. “The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 41% who Strongly Disapprove,” Rasmussen reports. “This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -6.”

As it turns out, making America great again really does a number for public perception of your presidency.

Perhaps Obama should have tried that.
