One of the most egregious lessons that we’ve learned from the arduous election of 2016 is, there is no way of telling just how deep into the D.C. swamp the corruption of Hillary Clinton runs.
At this point, our guess is “all the way”.
You see, the election of 2016 was supposed to be a coronation for Clinton, who many saw as a third term for President Obama…a man who purchased a home in the Washington D.C. suburbs for his post-presidential life, and even hired a team of about a dozen politicos to keep a finger on the pulse of Capitol Hill.
Thankfully, this is not the outcome we were saddled with, as an American conservative awakening had been boiling just under the surface of U.S. society. Thanks to this shift in popular culture, we were gifted a populist, Citizen President in Donald Trump.
Due to Trump’s outsider status in The Beltway, however, he has been targeted by the Deep State and the “establishment” Washington crooks as an interloper worthy of rebellion against. This is not simply the attitude of the liberal leftist masses, but, according to new reports from within the bowels of the disgraced FBI, this sentiment ran all the way to the tippy top of the intelligence community as well.
One of the four FBI case agents working on the Hillary Clinton email investigation—who was also one of the two FBI agents who interviewed her at the conclusion of that investigation—triumphantly referred to Clinton as “the President” four days after that interview—and four months before the election.
Later, on election day, in an instant message exchange with another FBI agent who had also worked on the Clinton investigation, this FBI agent declared: “screw you trump.”
The other agent said in the same instant-message exchange: “You should know…that I’m…with her.”
These two FBI investigators who were in a “relationship” while they were working on the Clinton email investigation later were married.
The report released yesterday by the inspector general for the Department of Justice referred to these two FBI agents not by their names but as “Agent 1” and “Agent 5.”
This is just the latest piece of anti-Trump attitude that has been exposed in recent days, as the Investigator General’s recent report on the handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation revealed a plethora of left-leaning bias within the Bureau.
How will this affect the credibility of the current Special Counsel investigation? Only time will tell, but there is little doubt that this massive anti-Trump “resistance” will create an uphill battle for Robert Mueller.
