It is not a very difficult logic argument to make that Affirmative Action is racist when it requires “We must have 13% black doctors in hospitals, professors in our faculties and engineering or all such staffs are racist!”
Even worse, this is very harmful to minorities.
If we put people into positions in which they cannot succeed their failures reflect badly on their race and destroy the argument for equality more than if we all had to abide by the same standards. The overlooked fact of liberalism is that insisting on placing people in positions for which they are not qualified is saying they are inferior and always will be. That is not true, but there are differences.
The number of geniuses produced by each of our five races: Mongolian, Caucasian, American, Malayan and Ethiopian is in that order statistically. The Asians, “Mongolians,” lead.
Intelligence testing has revealed that Mongolians produce more geniuses than any group and the percentage declines about 5% in each step, but where that fraction is only two percent in the first case the percentages are: 1.9%, 1.8%, 1.7%, 1.6% respectively so the net number differences in the whole population is microscopic.
The determinant is likely the time each race has had written language and mathematics. However, there are some notable differences and compensations for racial differences.
The Aztec “Americans” had a better calendar and astronomy than European Caucasians at the time of Columbus. But, they had not invented longitude or mapped the Earth as had the Chinese (Mongolians) who were the first global sailors and cartographers (map makers).
Where Ethiopians transmitted their culture in song and dance they are way ahead of any race in those areas, and professional athletics. 85% of the pro-football players are “black” and no one talks about Affirmative Action in the NFL. 85% of the players would be white if Affirmative Action rules were applied to the NFL the teams would be lousy and the games a joke. Nonetheless…
The worst aspect of Affirmative Action is that it puts unqualified people in positions where they may do real harm and reflect badly on their race when the white people that put them there are really at fault.
“Blacks” have been successful in every field and we must appoint and promote based on talent and performance. If you have any doubts about “black” people read the biography of Herman Cain on Wikipedia. It is simply stunning.
Where whites may produce 1.9% geniuses and blacks 1.6% the difference in the of 0.3% is microscopic in the mass and these children have compensating characteristics like superior athleticism meanwhile the Chinese are just that much ahead of whites, but no one complains about that fact, save Harvard College which has been found to discriminate against Asians! You cannot make this up!
Being accused of racism has caused white people to commit suicide feeling they could not overcome the accusation! We have become that warped on this baseless, false issue.
Intellectual standards in sciences have been diluted to increase the numbers of underperforming women and minorities. Entry requirements for graduate education have been revised as well as standards for employment. All the “do-gooders” have accomplished is to create time-bombs to set us all back in race relations.
The American Astronomical Society has recommended Ph.D. programs in astronomy eliminate the requirement applicants take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) in physics, since it has, “…a disparate impact on females and minorities.” This release is “smoking gun” evidence of the dilution of standards which never happens in a free market. This is socialism, the politicization of demography.
Mathematical problem-solving is now de-emphasized for more qualitative group projects and the pace of undergraduate physics education is reduced so no one is left behind. In other words the least capable, or serious students now set the pace in physics. No wonder our industries have to import foreign trained Physics Ph.D.s!
A typical grant from October 2017 directs $300,000 toward increasing Native American math involvement by incorporating “indigenous knowledge systems” into Navajo Nation Math Circles.
While the Aztecs had a more accurate calendar than existed in Europe at the time Spaniards were invading them most of the native American tribes had little more than counting systems for mathematics. The Aztecs and Mayans were the exception, not the rule.
The National Institutes of Health are diversity-obsessed. Medical schools receive NIH training grants to support postdoctoral education for physicians pursuing a research career in such fields as oncology and cardiology. The NIH threatens to yank any training grant if the recipient does not have sufficient “Under Represented Minorities, URMs.”
Medical school administrators now urge admissions committees to overlook the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) scores of “Black” and Hispanic student applicants to employ an “holistic review” in order to have “diversity,” the mantra of our time.
The result reduces the quality of students, graduates and practitioners. Where in the past if you could find a black doctor you knew you had a good one as he had to be an excellent student in every way to overcome prejudice. Now all black doctors will be suspect thanks to Affirmative Action.
Schools now accept “diversity” applicants with credentials well below those of previous students by dropping the GRE requirement because it makes obvious that in STEM fields women and minorities are not performing up to established academic standards. The future graduates in all these fields will now contain many time bombs for America. Eliminating all racial standards is the solution.
