Actress Creates and Promotes Dangerous New Conspiracy Theory

There is no doubt that the fight over accuracy in the media about to become one of the most poignant issues that our country will ever face.

We live in a new media age today, where realtime information is being created and regurgitated at alarming speeds, on platforms who are woefully inept at keeping up at a decent pace.  This means that a great deal of false information, bad semantics, and fake news has been weaving its way around the world wide web with reckless abandon.  In some cases, the liberal left’s media overlords are putting the kibosh on free speech altogether in order to keep their opinions afloat.

In other cases, such as today’s tale of actress Alyssa Milano, these same progressive gatekeepers are allowing dangerous new conspiracy theories to spread and multiply…just so long as they have a liberal slant to them.

Actress and left-wing activist Alyssa Milano blamed the Russians after Democrat’s lost Tuesday’s special election in Ohio.

“You know what sucks?” the 46-year-old actress wrote. “Because of our unwillingness to pass policy that protects our election integrity, I immediately think the Green Party votes tonight are Russian meddling.”

She added, “Why else would anyone cast a protest vote in Ohio when there’s so much at stake?”

The GOP’s special election victory in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District was a squeaker Democrats had hoped to steal. The district has been reliably Republican for over 30 years and Democrats saw an opportunity for a pick up.

As of now, though, with 100% of precincts reporting, Republican Troy Balderson enjoys a fairly comfortable 1,754 vote lead over Democrat Danny O’Connor. There are some 8,000 provisional ballots left to count, but it is unlikely those can put O’Connor over the top.

For the record, voting your conscience is never a protest vote.

Furthermore, the nation is insufferably angry over the failures of the two party system.  It makes perfect sense that a third party would see an inordinate amount of votes.

And finally, don’t tell anyone how else to vote.  If you think that they should have voted for someone else, get out there and change their minds.  Don’t sit back and accuse Russia of everything you aren’t happy with.  It’s dangerous and offensive.
