Which Will It Be?

Much like the big puzzle our grandmothers would have on a card table at Christmas the picture of this election is beginning to fall together with one very big difference.  In the pile of free pieces there are duplicate forms that will fit together to make three different pictures.

In one Hillary is seen astride a white horse with Bill Clinton’s face prancing toward a White House on a hill triumphantly, but at the end of the road and in the distance, a city is burning, bodies, death and destruction are on either side of the path.

In another Donald Trump is the stallion, his daughter and wife are astride followed by the boys, their wives, children and a legion of construction workers eager to work.  In the distance there is a shining city on a hill and along the way the White House.  “The Trumps are coming!” echoes along the way.

In the final version the sky is filled with smoke.  A black war horse with Barack Hussein Obama leading a Muslim band of Federal workers is marching toward the burnt-out remains of what had been a great city.  The way is strewn with bodies, broken vehicles and smoldering fires.  At the end of the road is a ruin of a great city with gaunt children, hands out, begging for food.  On the way the White House has had a rainbow paint job and a purple minaret with a tall tower to one side and occupied by a man singing the Islamic call to prayer as Obama and entourage march forward.

Which will it be?

Driving these visions are the events of the day reported in the following excerpts from several sources”

”Even before the FBI identified new cyber attacks on two separate state election boards, the Department of Homeland Security began considering declaring the election a “critical infrastructure,” giving it the same control over security it has over Wall Street and and the electric power grid.”

“We should carefully consider whether our election system, our election process, is critical infrastructure like the financial sector, like the power grid,” Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said.

“There’s a vital national interest in our election process, so I do think we need to consider whether it should be considered by my department and others critical infrastructure,” he said at media conference earlier this month hosted by the Christian Science Monitor.”

“DHS has a vital security role in 16 areas of critical infrastructure and they provide a model for what the department and Johnson could have in mind for the election.

DHS describes it this way on their website: “There are 16 critical infrastructure sectors whose assets, systems, and networks, whether physical or virtual, are considered so vital to the United States that their incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on security, national economic security, national public health or safety, or any combination thereof.”

“A White House policy directive adds, “The federal government also has a responsibility to strengthen the security and resilience of its own critical infrastructure, for the continuity of national essential functions, and to organize itself to partner effectively with and add value to the security and resilience efforts of critical infrastructure owners and operators.”

At the time, Johnson did not mention specific security issues, but the FBI has since cited one hack and another attempt.

Johnson also said that the big issue at hand is that there isn’t a central election system since the states run elections. “There’s no one federal election system. There are some 9,000 jurisdictions involved in the election process,” Johnson said.”   (Paul Bedard, Washington Examiner)

Pardon my paranoia, but is Mr. Obama taking over the election?  This would very easily enable his cancellation of it, “To save America from Donald Trump!”  If we can believe the surveys nearly half the people would applaud such a move on the part of our President.  And, there is another path…

From The Daily Caller

“President Obama’s longtime doctor, David Scheiner, said Tuesday that Hillary Clinton should undergo a “thorough neurological examination” to see if she has lasting damage from a Dec. 2012 concussion she suffered in a fall.

Scheiner also raised numerous questions during an interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett over Donald Trump’s health.

He said that a short letter released by Trump’s doctor, Harold Bornstein, is not sufficient in settling whether the 70-year-old real estate billionaire is in good health. Scheiner, who said he plans to vote for Clinton, wondered what Trump’s body mass index is and said that he appears a “bit overweight.”

Clinton has claimed to be in good health as well. She released a two-page letter from her doctor which addressed her Dec. 2012 fall. Clinton suffered a concussion and a blood clot and was slow to recover.

The doctor’s note stated that Clinton had recovered fully from the concussion and blood clot.

“Is that enough?” Burnett asked Scheiner of the doctor’s note.

“No. A number of questions I have,” he said.

“She’s also 68 years old. While I think that medical letter was well written…it’s not enough,” he added, asserting that Clinton’s doctor’s letter was more thorough than the one from Bornstein.

Scheiner noted that Clinton is on Coumadin, a medication that prevents blood clots.

“You have to monitor that,” he said of the drug. “I’d like to know how well she is being controlled. That’s a difficult drug to use.”

“I think she should have had a…thorough neurological examination in 2016,” he continued.

“We know what happens to football players who have had concussions how they begin to lose some of their cognitive ability.” ”

We were very surprised to see this piece with Mr. Obama’s doctor bringing up such an issue as this certainly cannot do Mrs. Clinton very much good, but it gives Mr. Obama another path to justify canceling the election, “To save America from Donald Trump!”  I put no vision beyond the mind of this man.  Which will it be?
