So as we are worried about what may happen next month on our little plot of earth many people are turning to the heavens. Some are praying and some are studying what’s going on up there. The studiers are discovering some pretty interesting things.
Uranus, often the butt of many jokes, is the 7th planet in our solar system. As it turns out it maybe hiding 2 moons (you can’t make this stuff up).
Saturn, the 6th from the sun, has a hexagon at its North Pole. Astronomers have been trying to figure out what it is for years. Now it is changing colors. Funny it should do that when apparently red states are turning blue.
But here’s the one that is really going to take the wind out of your sails. The sun is storming. What does that mean for us mere mortals? Disrupted power grids, satellites and radio navigation systems. You might be in the dark and recalculating for a while. You might even have to fill out a paper ballot.
Warning: You might also want to stay away from the Bermuda Triangle. After announcements that the long standing mystery of that region had been solved Randall Cerveny, the scientist involved, says the Science Channels editing was horrible. Can you imagine?
Folks, it’s time to face facts. We are significant in our own minds. Few of us make a huge impact on this planet. Only God can make a huge difference and when he decides to do so- There ain’t nothin’ you can do about it but sit back and watch.
So we might want to make getting on our knees more important than getting to the polls, logging on to www. whatever, or planning a vacation.
Just my humble opinion- Do you share it?
