TRUMP AND THE TREE IN THE FOREST

Ivanka Trump spoke about Donald’s lewd remarks about women in a 2005 audio recording: “My father’s comments were clearly inappropriate and offensive, and I’m glad that he acknowledged this fact with an immediate apology to my family and the American people.”

Bishop Berkeley said, “If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound?” It does because God hears it.  In this case no one would have heard Trump and it would have been a non-issue if it weren’t for Bush.

Crudeness is not crudeness when it is done in a joking tone between friends. God did not hear it.  America shouldn’t have heard it.

Trump boasted about groping and kissing women.  Big deal.  We don’t even know if he did it.  He probably doesn’t remember.

And Trump bragged about using his celebrity status to get over on women. This is typical.  Celebrities do get over on women and it’s because women are embarrassed by their easy seduction that they are angry about Trump’s boasting.

If they wanted to stop having the reputation for being seduced by celebrities, they should stop being seduced.
