Rahm Emanuel tells Illegal Immigrants that they’ll Always be Welcoming in ChiRaq… er, Chicago

Chicago Mayor and Ballet student Rahm Emanuel reaffirmed Chicago’s status as a “sanctuary city” following the “most devastating loss in history of American politics,” and victory of Donald Trump said that illegal aliens will always be welcome in Chicago as home.

“It is important for families that are anxious, it is important for children and adolescents that are unsure because of Tuesday to understand that the city of Chicago is your home,” he said on Monday. “You are always welcome in this city, always.”

“To be clear about what Chicago is, it always will be a sanctuary city to all those who are, after Tuesday’s election, very nervous and filled with anxiety who has been spoken to,” Emanuel added. “You are safe in Chicago. You are secure in Chicago and you are supported in Chicago.”

Emanuel failed to talk about how the murder rate is in Chicago or the level of violent crime in his city and how it has grown. What he is promoting is the protection of those who have knowingly broken the immigration laws of the united States. In essence, he is harboring criminals.

Emanuel’s comments come on the heels of Donald Trump‘s claim to deport 2-3 million illegals.

Trump said, “What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably two million, it could be even three million, we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate.”

“But we’re getting them out of our country,” he added. “They’re here illegally.”

What many have failed to address is that Trump made a way to allow some illegal aliens to not be deported, or at least not so fast.

“After the border is secure and after everything gets normalized, we’re going to make a determination on the people that they’re talking about who are terrific people, they’re terrific people but we are gonna make a determination at that,” Trump said. “But before we make that determination…it’s very important, we are going to secure our border.”

Trump made a promise on September 1, 2016 to start deportations his first hour in office, obviously a metaphor as he will be celebrating after his inauguration.

Day one, my first hour in office, those people are gone. You can call it ‘deported’ if you want… the press doesn’t like that term… you can call it whatever you want… they’re gone.

Their days have run out in this country… the crime will stop… they’re going to be gone. It will be over.

Let’s just see what takes place on day one and up through day 100.
