Obama Shut Down DHS Investigation, Could Have Prevented San Bernardino Shooting

Philip Haney, former investigator for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), claims that he was investigating Syed Farook’s mosque, but that the State Department and Homeland Security shut his investigation down over concerns of racial profiling.  Haney, speaking to Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, emphasized that the mosque Farook attended was a central point of his investigation.

Haney said the Department of Homeland Security deleted 67 of his records, including one pertaining to Farook’s mosque.

Had his investigation not been shut down, he added, Farook would have been placed on a “No Fly List” and the visa for his fiance, Tashfeen Malik, would have been denied.

Fourteen people died in San Bernardino, sacrificed on the altar of Political Correctness.

Were their deaths “bumps in the road,” as Obama has suggested in the past when referring to terrorist attacks?

Haney’s investigation included two radical groups in which both Farook and Malik were involved. His investigation would have cast more light on both of them, and may very well have prevented Farook before he shot innocent, unarmed people. During his investigation, Haney uncovered that Farook’s mosque has close ties to Dar-al-Uloom al-Islamia, which is part of the Deobandi movement.

The Deobandi Movement in India is controlled by the Darul Uloom Deoband and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind political sects strongly influenced by Sunni Wahhabism. Saudi Arabia funded the Deobandi movement in Pakistan for roughly two decades as it was seen to counterbalance Shiite Iranian influence in the region.

The Times reported in 2007 that roughly 600 of Britain’s 1,500 mosques at the time had imams who taught congregants to loath Western values, to “shed blood” for Allah, and to harbor contempt for Jews, Christians and Hindus. It also mentioned that 17 of the country’s 26 Islamic seminaries followed the Deobandi teachings which gave birth to the Taliban.

Tashfeen Malik attended a Deobandi school in Pakistan– which should have set off warning bells had the investigation continued.

Haney said the DHS retaliated against him by pulling his security clearance, which prevented him from continuing as an investigator.

The question remains: how many future attacks could  be prevented without constant interference from the Obama caliphate?
