Surprise, surprise, surprise.
Barack Obama is a liar. Though after 8 years in office most of us already knew the President had a very difficult relationship with the truth, he’s now given us even more reason to doubt anything he says. Or, I should say, WikiLeaks has given us more reason to doubt him.
Who remembers when Hillary Clinton’s private email scandal first broke into the news cycle in 2015? Those were heady days when we conservatives dared to dream that Clinton had finally met her legal match and would soon face justice for her crimes. Sadly, justice in this case now seems unlikely, but perhaps her crimes will still prove to be her undoing. And maybe — just maybe — they’ll take our corrupt President down too…
See, in March (and then October) of 2015, President Obama told the American people that he simply had no idea that Hillary Clinton was using a private email server. In fact, he used one of his favorite lines to announce his ignorance of her crimes. When asked in March when he first learned that Clinton had been using a private email server to do official government business, President Obama replied, “The same time when everyone else learned about it through news reports.”
Then in October, when asked directly if he knew about Hillary Clinton’s private email server, Obama simply responded, “No.”
Direct. Straightforward. No wiggle room.
Except, it was all lies. According to the FBI investigation into Clinton’s unlawful private email server use, President Obama was regularly emailing the Secretary of State at her private address using a pseudonym. He was also receiving emails from Mrs. Clinton and the President can only receive emails from addresses that have first been approved – meaning that he must have known about her private server!
But just in case you weren’t sure he was lying based on the fact that he was sending and receiving emails to and from Mrs. Clinton’s private email address, WikiLeaks has the smoking gun to prove the President is a liar.
In emails dated March of 2015 between aide Josh Schwerin, and upper level confidantes John Podesta and Cheryl Mills, we discover first that her team was surprised to hear the President deny his knowledge of her private email, and then that he most certainly did have emails from her private address and that the Clinton team now knew they needed to “clean” the situation up.
If Hillary Clinton did nothing wrong, why did President Obama feel the need to lie to the American people about his knowledge of her private server? Kind of odd behavior for the “most transparent president ever” to engage in. Lies, lies, and more lies – it’s all just par for the course when it comes to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
