News You Can Use for August 4, 2016

Good Morning! We here at Constitution.com want you to get your day started right, which is why we’ve decided to help you catch the morning’s news highlights. We know that you’ve got a busy day ahead and you may not necessarily have time to surf the web looking for the things you need to know, so we’ve gone ahead and done that for you.

We’ve gathered a short list of some of what we think are the most important headlines of the day and placed them all right here for you.

So without further ado, here’s the News you can Use for Thursday, August 4, 2016.

The Donald Trump campaign for the White House just released a memo pushing an “Urgent Pivot” as they seek to take back control of the media narrative.

“All — As usual, the media is working against our efforts and our messaging specifically as it relates to the tragic death of Capt. Humayun Khan,” Scott Mason, Trump’s director of congressional affairs, wrote.

“We are asking you to review and use the attached talking points in your daily messaging, including a release and/or statements you can put out in your social media immediately to support Mr. Trump and OUR message, that we must end radical Islamic terror so that soldiers like Capt. Khan, and all Americans, will be safe.”

Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s closest advisors are apparently plotting “an intervention” in an effort to refocus Mr. Trump on the task at hand and to keep him from rabbit trails like his recent attacks on the Khan family.

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough says that Donald Trump terrifies his foreign policy advisors because he thinks nukes are the answer to everything.

While Mr. Trump refused to endorse Paul Ryan (R-WI) recently, his running mate Mike Pence (R-IN) has given his enthusiastic endorsement.

Hillary Clinton is running a “HISTORIC” campaign… and not in a good way.

The Obama economy will continue to present Hillary Clinton with some major problems.

Did President Obama just promise to make himself dictator for life if Donald Trump wins the election?

Libertarian Gary Johnson is rethinking, and restating some of his previous comments on religious liberty.

The new Ghostbusters movie isn’t exactly a “flop,” but it’s pretty close.
