Navy Admiral Slams Unpatriotic Colin Kaepernick in Pearl Harbor Memorial Speech!

Earlier this week we commemorated the 75th anniversary of the vicious Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii that marked our entry into World War II.

December 7th 1941 truly is a day that continues to “live in infamy” as President Franklin D. Roosevelt promised it would, which is why, 75 years later, we still take time to remember the terrible events of that day and the many heroic American lives that were lost. This year during the very special ceremony that took place in Pearl Harbor, U.S. Pacific Command Commander Admiral Harry B. Harris delivered a rousing speech honoring our veterans and delivering a harsh blow at the liberal hero du jour Colin Kaepernick.

Kaepernick is the Quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers and he made headlines earlier this year when he refused to stand for the National Anthem. He argued that remaining seated (or kneeling) during the Anthem was his way of highlighting the continued racial injustice that minorities (particularly African-Americans) still face in our nation today. However, many Americans have taken exception to Kaepernick’s cause, arguing that his decision is disrespectful and misguided. While America may have problems that need to be faced, our nation is still the most diverse, accepting, and just the world has ever seen.

Admiral Harris pointedly mocked Kaepernick for his ignorant position while simultaneously praising the brave men and women who have stood to fight defending Kaepernick’s freedom to kneel in disrespect.

“You can bet that the men and women that we honor today – and those who died that fateful morning 75 years ago – never took a knee and never failed to stand when they heard our national anthem being played,” Admiral Harris said.
