The democratic “resistance” to President Donald Trump got an unwelcome shot in the arm this week at the behest of the radical left’s mainstream media cronies.
As Trump has now thrice condemned the actions of bigots and racists in Charlottesville’s Weekend War, the left has collectively rolled their eyes and attempted to ignore the President’s pleas for peace in the American society. Their hope has been to foment a rebellion among the social justice-obsessed, malleable millennials who have been seen taking selfies with toppled historical monuments this week by once again pushing the phony narrative that the President is a supreme bigot.
This shallow facade of fake news has stuck, unfortunately, as many leftists in America have taken to the streets to commit criminal acts in the name of their anti-Trump “resistance”.
Now, one state politician has made her own remarks regarding the President, and it’s incredibly unacceptable.
“A Missouri state senator said in a now-deleted Facebook post that she hopes President Donald Trump is assassinated.
“Maria Chappelle-Nadal acknowledged on Thursday that she wrote a post which read: ‘I hope Trump is assassinated!’
“She made the comment in an exchange with a left-wing activist who claimed that his cousin is a Secret Service agent.
“Chappelle-Nadal confirmed to a reporter with St. Louis TV station KMOX that she posted the comment.
“’I put something up on my personal Facebook page and it has now been deleted,’ she said.”
We somehow doubt that Chappelle-Nadal’s half-hearted apology will be enough to save her job.
This is the unfortunate truth of the modern American world this week, as the mainstream media continues to push the nation toward a New Civil War.
Beginning in early 2017, as celebrities and pundits began normalizing the idea of Trump’s assassination, the radical left rose to the occasion. Despicable democrats such as James T. Hodgkinson then sprung into action on these debutantes’ cues, firing the first shots of this New Civil War in June of 2017.
