Manhunt Underway for Muslim Terrorist in Germany after Police Foil Attack!

From the Daily Caller News Foundation:

A manhunt is underway for a 22-year-old Syrian refugee in Germany after police foiled an imminent terror plot Friday night in the city of Chemintz.

Three people have been arrested but the main suspect remains at large. Police released an image of 22-year-old Jaber Albakr, a Syrian refugee who arrived in Germany in 2015. Albakr is believed to have ties to an Islamist group.

This is no longer a joke,” a police spokesman told Deutsche Press Agentur.

Police evacuated a high-rise apartment building and searched a unit with “suspicions of plans for a bomb attack.” Hundreds of grams of highly explosive materials were discovered and police had to conduct a secure detonation as the explosives weren’t stable enough to move.

The substance in the apartment was “far more dangerous than TNT,” according to a police spokesman.

“It was not just lying out on the kitchen table, it was relatively well hidden,”  Saxony’s police spokesman Tom Bernhardt told reporters.

Locals have been told to remain in their houses and a large area has been blocked off in the search for the suspect.
