ACLU Attorney Finds a Bizarre Way To Blame Christians for Orlando Shooting

It is no secret that the Christian Right is not a supporter of the movement known as “Gay Rights.” And it is also no secret that I personally think that the practice of sodomy should be outlawed. This means that the act of sexual perversion and not the desire or people.

Inevitably, the lines between the actor and the action are blurred. To hate the one is to hate the other. This logic is hard to deny, especially if we read the Psalms. But this is a far cry from agreeing with or desiring what happened in the Orlando Gay Nightclub Sunday night. But, some, being true to their political allegiances, have seen that it would be beneficial to merge the two.

The Washington Times reports

Several prominent gay-rights activists took to social media to blame Christians for Sunday’s massacre at a gay nightclub in Orlando.

Chase Strangio, a staff attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union, on Sunday, said the “Christian Right” is implicated in the slaughter by passing “anti-LGBT bills.”

“The Christian Right has introduced 200 anti-LGBT bills in the last six months, and people are blaming Islam for this. No,” Mr. Strangio said in a Twitter post.

This connection is lunacy. Even if you say that Islam and Christianity share some similarity, there is no warrant for claiming that the laws lobbied for by the Christian are in any way related to the actions of a Muslim Jihadist. But this is just one example.

The Times continued

Sally Kohn, an MSNBC contributor who is outspoken about LGBT rights, accused those who subscribe to traditional sexual mores of hypocrisy for condemning the murder of gay people.

“Always fascinating to watch conservatives who won’t support basic non-discrimination laws bash Islamic fundamentalists for being anti-gay,” Ms. Kohn said on Twitter.

Saul Alinsky strikes again. Never let a crisis go to waste. The LGBT Left will not be happy until Christians are silenced. And this is rooted in their hatred of God. They hate the One against whom they are in rebellion. Romans 1:28-32.

So, even though it was a Muslim who attacked the gay nightclub, it was somehow the fault of Christians.
