Why the Double Standard with Hate Speech?

Recently, I reported that there was a group of people claiming that Nice was a false flag. They claim that the attack was to draw attention away from Black Lives Matter. In the process of reporting this, it came to my attention that most of the tweeters were from the London area. And
this got me thinking.

As I reported, several people were arrested recently in Britain for street preaching. The authorities arrested these preachers for inciting hate and offensive speech. So, this begs the question. Why aren’t these tweeters facing similar charges?

Let’s work through this for a moment. The Christians were on the street and speaking in public. But they had nowhere near the audience that the tweeters enjoyed. Even if everyone in Bristol, UK had been able to hear the words of these preachers, it would have paled in comparison.

The tweeters’ speech was much more hateful. Much of it would not be appropriate to share. They claimed Allah had given the women of the West to Muslims, and that white men were unable to perform sexually.

But, this has not raised one comment or denunciation from authorities.

It is evident from the tweets that these people are actually pulling for the enemies of Western Civilization, but not a peep from the law in Britain. Why is that? Why would this not qualify as hate speech? Why is this not a violation of Section 5 of the Public Order Act?

The reason is simple if not profound. The left believes that the Muslim and the black are alike victims. As I have pointed out, this gives them a pass. The victim of racial oppression and religious profiling cannot himself be a victimizer. He is forever a victim.

This creates a racial and religious bias that can never be overcome. And it points out that in a humanist society, justice is impossible. Without the standard of ethics given by Scripture, justice will always evade us.

This is why we have this double standard.
