James Comey

Liberals Predictably Testy Regarding Firing of Incompetent Comey

When it come to the party lines in America, one can rest assured that the democrats will find any possible excuse to be angry at republican leaders.

Still stinging from their electoral battering in November 2016, the American democrats have been hard at work attempting a number of coup-like schemes to dethrone, delegitimize, or otherwise deal with President Donald Trump.  The early successes of his administration have only been countered by crooked, backdoor judiciary dealings and the violence of the liberal New Fascism movement in California.

Now, as Trump fires the irrefutably ineffective James Comey from atop his perch at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the left is suddenly, yet predictably, up in arms over the decision.  Of course, this wouldn’t be a story about liberals if there wasn’t an enormous, hypocritical pink elephant in the room.

Today’s big ugly truth that the left would like us to forget is that they themselves were calling for Comey’s ouster barely 6 months ago, as the FBI director was then investigating the corrupt Hillary Clinton.  The abuses of power that were demonstrated by the former Secretary of State were incredibly egregious, and worthy of investigation, certainly.  Comey at first treaded quite lightly, drawing the ire of a majority of Americans who believed that Clinton should have been jailed.  Then, just days before the 2016 presidential election, Comey reopened the case, and sent democrats to their barns for pitchforks and torches.

What followed was the modern equivalent of a democratic lynch mob, the true impetus of the New Fascism movement we face today, as liberals and progressive shouted over and over from the rooftops for Comey’s head on a platter.

Now, of course, they’re singing a different tune, because, as democrats, they’re not allowed to agree with something that a republican President does.

“Reaction to President Trump’s decision to fire FBI Director James Comey was split along partisan lines Tuesday, with Republicans claiming that Comey’s dismissal would mark a fresh start for the bureau, even as Democrats called for a special prosecutor to investigate the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russian officials.

“Comey told lawmakers in March that the FBI was conducting a counterintelligence investigation into Russian attempts to interfere in the 2016 election campaign, an investigation that included possible links between members of the Trump campaign and Moscow.

“Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said he told Trump ‘you are making a big mistake’ when the president called to inform Schumer that he was firing the FBI director.

“‘The first question the administration has to answer is, “Why now?”‘ Schumer told reporters. ‘Were these investigations getting too close to home for the president?’

“Schumer then called on Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to appoint a special prosecutor, saying ‘America depends on you to restore faith in our criminal justice system, which is going to be badly shattered after the administration’s actions today.'”

Liberals, predictably, are blaming James Comey’s firing on an ongoing, yet completely listless investigation into the already-debunked conspiracy theory that Donald Trump was assisted by the Russians in his bid for the White House – an hypothesis that gave rise to the infamous “fake news” moniker.

Ironically, the democratic cries for the removal of Comey mere months ago have revealed the truth about modern leftists:  They are nothing more than contrarian career politicians who care more about opposition than optimism.
