Liberal Irony and the Terrorist Attacks This Past Weekend

Hillary Clinton, in somber tones, and looking quite sickly I might add, as her traveling press corps waited with baited breath for her statement about this past weekends “explosions” said, “I think it’s important to know the facts about any incident like this…blah, blah, blah.”

Needless to say, her response and the focus of her media cronies was to make Donald Trump appear ignorant of the facts and quick to assign blame without any evidence.  The impression given, this man is unfit to be President.  Their usual drumbeat.

NBC News (hereto after known as the National Clinton Channel), wrote, “The presidential candidates remained true to form in their reactions to the explosion in New York City on Saturday night, with Donald Trump sounding alarms and Hillary Clinton offering caution.” — NBCnews.com

Never mind that he was right!  Ignore the fact that he has been correct just about every time one of these “incidents” take place.

Just what did Trump say that got the press all in a tizzy this time?

“…before I got off the plane, a bomb went off in New York, and nobody knows exactly what’s going on, but boy, we are living in a time.”

NBCNews.com then states, “Exactly how Trump learned of the incident is yet to be determined.” — ibid.

As to what this means, I really can’t say.  Your guess is as good as mine.

One could understand this statement to mean, how did Trump get the facts before Hillary?  After all, they are the ones who used the word “learn” meaning “to gain or acquire knowledge.”

I will note that Clinton while chastising Trump for saying “bombs went off,” did the same thing when she went on to explain, “I’ve been briefed about the bombings in New York and New Jersey and the attack in Minnesota.”

Oops!  She stepped in a big pile of you know what with that one.  But alas, she will probably blame it on the lingering effects of pneumonia.

But this is not the main focus of this article.  My title mentions the irony of liberals, including the media.  So what is the irony of which I speak?

Whenever terrorists attack, be it in San Bernardino, the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, killing women and children by running them over with a truck, an army major shooting up his own post, etc., liberal politicians and the liberal media chastise Donald Trump and any American for that matter, who rightly assumes the attack was carried out by Islamic Terrorist?

Democrat politicians sit in their ivory towers and the media rest on their high horse and vilify the rest of us, lecturing that we should wait for all the facts to come to light before we draw a conclusion.

So why don’t they, meaning liberal politicians and their media cronies, do the same for police officers when a shooting takes place involving a black man?

Whenever a shooting involving a criminal, who happens to be black, takes place, law enforcement is immediately hung out to dry.  Thrown to the wolves by the media and their favorite go-to guys, Al Sharpton and the BLM folks.

Seriously!  They give the benefit of the doubt to Middle Easterners living in this country who support consistent Islam more than they do Americans born and raised here who put their lives on the line every day to keep them safe.

In the words of Mugatu, “I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!”
