Donald Trump Nazi Youtube

The Media is Now Trying to Label Donald Trump as a Nazi. Should We Be Surprised?

Reporters are like prospectors mining for gold, hoping for one, big scoop that will make them rich, that one moment in the sun which can sustain them for their entire career and establish them in the pantheon of investigative journalism, along such stalwarts as:

Woodward and Bernstein with their expose on the devious Nixon and his cover-up of Watergate

Seymour Hersh with his Pulitzer winning telling of the horrific Massacre at My Lai

Matt Drudge’s unmasking of Hillary’s “rightwing conspiracy” with his news busting report of forty-nine year old President Bill converting twenty-two-year old Monica into a human humidor

I’m not a reporter, but I’ve found my EUREKA! moment.

Back in June of 2016, in the wake of the Orlando massacre, Donald Trump said this:

“The attack on the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, was the worst terrorist strike on our soil since September 11th, and the worst mass shooting in our country’s history.”

In the weeks since, something has been bothering me, something niggling, like the vanishing wisp of a dream you try and remember upon wakening. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but it wouldn’t go away. And then the other night it hit me. I realized where I’d heard similar words before. It was part of a quote I reported on when I was in high in school, studying World War II:

We National Socialists maintain that industrial production is not the most important in terms of the future of the European peoples.”

Look at both quotes again:

The attack on the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, was the worst terrorist strike on our soil since September 11th, and the worst mass shooting in our country’s history.”

We National Socialists maintain that industrial production is not the most important in terms of the future of the European peoples.”

Do you know who the second quote is from?

Hitler, at the 1927 Nuremberg Rally!

Yes, that’s right. Here, Trump is clearly using the same hateful rhetoric used by one of the most despicable despots of all time. In fact, Trump said “the” four times, Hitler only said it three times. That’s proof positive by today’s journalistic standards that Donald is actually WORSE than Adolf!

For the past six months, every news rag scribbler and TV pundit are turning contortionist, forcing less than dubious links in an attempt to connect Trump to Hitler and the rise of the Nazis.

See the Washington Post’s Eric Rauchway, Alternet’s Thom Hartman, and Politico’s Nick Gass.

Even Hillary is in on the game!

And I’ve scooped them all. But I don’t expect anyone to be jealous of my discovery; they’ll be too busy wallowing in joy at the prospect of the devil known as Donald getting exorcised from the presidential race, regardless of who plays Father Merrin.

Oh sure, conservative news sources will shun me and attack my character, but I’ll be a hero to the other 99% of the media. I’m this year’s version of David Corn, but with an upper lip and XY chromosomes.

Bill Krystal and Erick Erickson will raise their Cosmopolitans and toast in my honor.

Megan Kelly is going to wet her panties.

Chris Hayes is going to squee, squee, squee, all the way home.

Paul Ryan will invite me inside his walled compound.

Black Lives Matter will make me an honorary African American (suck it, Dolezal and King!)

Hey, Jeff Zucker and Phil Griffin – I’m ready for my close-up!

(Dear readers, please don’t misinterpret the above as sarcasm; sadly, it’s pretty much dead-on where the collective media is at these days – out of their collective minds with Trump Delirium. If he wins, there’s going to be an epidemic of Scanners-head. And I’m okay with that.)
