Dinesh D’Souza’s film “Hillary’s America” would be highly acclaimed as one of the greatest films in history, but for one thing: The film community of Hollywood will hate it like they have nothing before, as it exposes how they have been duped, but then so have we all. Many years from now a respected Hollywood critic will dare to say it was one of the greatest films of all time. I say that today, having been in the business.
The film design of launching from D’Souza’s trial for having given money to a friend running for office in excess of legal limits to his stint in a prison with serious felons who tell him how their world works, then his seeing many parallels in politics and government is structural genius perfectly played by excellent actors you will likely not see again. This was their moment.
Casting for this production is amazing as the players were perfect matches for their historic characters. Scenes leap from the screen. Brutality inflicted on slaves is authentically portrayed and hard to watch; such is D’Souza’s faithful dedication to history.
The Democrats were slave people, did not reform, but reinvented it. Their party lives that lie. Republicans fought slavery from their beginnings and how Democrats have gotten away with a myth of “…being for the little guy, and the downtrodden” is the story of the greatest deception in America. It is alive and well today. D’Sousa exposes the truth monumentally.
Let us not forget: Nazi Germany documented that a small number of people can lead millions into evil of dimensions they could never imagine. And, they will deny it ever happened afterwards. This was why General Eisenhower required the German people to tour the death camps while the corpses were still there to document the madness of “National Socialism.”
The Democratic Party similarly seeks to concentrate power to the hands of the few in are our elected ruling class, putting them above the law. Most prominent are the Clintons, but more than the poster couple of the culture, they are the envy of millions who know what they are getting away with and admire it. They insist the world be the way they see it and find or create the people that will prove it for them as they have with man-caused global warming when it is a lie.
Digital film production has made many things possible we only dreamed of in my days in the business, and D’Sousa pulls out all stops for a breathtaking production. The cast and production team is in the hundreds in this first class production. The Civil War battle scenes were done by reenactment groups that were meticulously authentic and the period interiors produced were similarly rich in period detail, culture and language. You come away with a feeling of having been there as the proverbial “fly-on-the-wall.”
“Hillary’s America” is not a hate piece on anyone, not even Hillary or the Clintons. It is a clear look at how we got to the place we found ourselves after our Civil War and you come away with the feeling there is lot more to the story of our government, what it is, how it works and the critical time in which we live. This is a film that could, and perhaps will, change America.
