Did the media miss this! Or did they just ignore it? In a speech before the American Legion on August 31 in Cincinnati, OH, Hillary Clinton threatens to go to war with Russia and China, both leading nuclear powers. Why would she be so careless, you ask?
She said, and I quote, “You’ve seen reports. Russia’s hacked into a lot of things. China’s hacked into a lot of things. Russia even hacked into the Democratic National Committee, maybe even some state election systems. So we have got to step up our game. Make sure we are well-defended and able to take the fight to those who go after us. As President, I will make it clear, that the United States will treat cyber-attacks just like any other attack. We will be ready with serious political, economic and military responses.”
This tough talk by Hillary is more than likely a result of the DNC being hacked before their national convention which caused Clintonista, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, to lose her seat of power as head of the party.
Since the hacking of the DNC and without a shred of evidence, Hillary, the President, and media have pointed the finger at Russia.
No matter which way you it slice, Hillary’s words “We will be ready with…military response” sounds like a threat of war.
Did the media challenge her over her reckless words? Did they question her access to the nuclear launch codes? Did they bring up her temperament or judgement?
What is incredible on the face of it is how many times these so-called news outlets refer to Donald Trump as reckless in his speeches.
Over the course of the last year, these same news organizations have maligned Trump saying he may take us to the brink of nuclear war.
Bordering on hysteria, headlines, like one from Esquire.com reads “Here’s Why Trump Can’t Be Trusted with the Nuclear Codes” and The Huffington (Puffington) Post who calmly announces “Trump Is A Real Nuclear Threat.”
The latter story was even posted on Aug. 6, the day which marked the 71st anniversary in which the United States dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan.
Bruce Blair writing for Politico has a story titled “What Exactly Would It Mean to Have Trump’s Finger on the Nuclear Button?”
He then admits he has no idea what Trump would do, but then paints different scenarios in an attempt to scare the “hell” out of his readers of what Trump might do.
He finishes his article saying “Trump certainly has not yet made a convincing case that we [the American people] could sleep soundly with him at the helm [finger on the nuclear button].”
Even Hillary has chimed in sounding the alarm. On June 2, she blasted Trump saying, “This is not someone who should ever have the nuclear codes. It’s not hard to imagine Donald Trump leading us into a war just because somebody got under his very thin skin.”
Ironically, Donald Trump has never threatened to go to war with another world power that has nuclear capabilities. Nope. Just Hillary! In her speech, she threatened Russia and China with war. And for the most part, the media has been silent.
