Fallout From Snoop Dogg Video Continues After Controversial Fox Host’s Remarks

The unfunny and disturbing depiction of Donald Trump in gangster rapper Snoop Dogg’s latest music video refuses to leave the public consciousness this week.

The fallout from Snoop’s “Lavender” music video, in which the rapper tastelessly demonstrates the mock execution of President Donald Trump disguised as clown-like character “Ronald Klump”, has been swift and thorough.  The left is insisting that the music video is no big deal, while the Secret Service has admitted that they are not taking the threat lightly.

Now, one Fox News host is coming under fire for their off-the-cuff, off-the-wall comment about possible repercussions.

“Fox News are known for being incredibly conservative and more than a little bit controversial, however, the news channel appeared to reach new lows when host Kimberly Guilfoyle suggested that President Donald Trump should enlist the Secret Service to kill Snoop Dogg and Bow Wow.

“However, things got even more heated during Thursday’s Fox News with Greg Gutfeld asking Guilfoyle what the Secret Service should do about Snoop only for Guilfoyle to reply: ‘Kill them?’ before re-affirming: ‘Kill them.’

“She continued: ‘I think it would be fantastic if Snoop and wannabe-Snoop got a visit from, like, the federal marshals, and let’s see how tough and gangster they are then.’

‘“Honestly this is horrible behaviour… what a double standard, this would never fly, there would be outrage all over the place if somebody said this [about Michelle Obama].’”

While Guilfoyle is completely correct regarding the double standard that permeates the liberal political perspective, the left is most certainly making a mountain out of a molehill in regards to her tongue-in-cheek “kill them” remark.  The host was likely referring only to the unfathomable power wielded by the President of the United States, and Snoop Dogg’s own obliviousness to that.
