Hillary Clinton is a socialist as is Barack Obama. You can tell by listening to both of them as they speak out against everything that made America great and prosperous. Obama spent his eight years in the White House doing everything possible to destroy the American system of capitalism that built this nation into the most powerful free nation in the world. Had Hillary won the election, she would have continued Obama’s destructive policies and further our decline into a nation of socialist poverty.
Hillary, Obama and most Democrats blame the people, that worked hard to be successful, for most of America’s problems. They blame people like the Carnegies, Rockefellers, Vanderbilts, and even Sam Walton for ruining the nation when in fact they built empires that employed millions of Americans and helped to build our national economy.
Unfortunately, these same socialists have taken over our nation’s public education system and have been teaching at least one, possibly two, generations to hate everything good about America and blame them for our nation’s woes just like Obama and Hillary do. I’ve spoken to young people who have been educated in the public schools and have heard first-hand how they are taught that American patriotism is evil and that loyalty should be given to globalism instead. They are being taught to hate capitalism and to embrace government control and government hand-outs, both of which are socialist concepts.
As a conservative, patriotic American, we are often put on the defensive when confronted by one of the many brainwashed young people who think capitalism is evil. A very good friend, fellow college classmate and hunting buddy of mine recently found himself confronted by one of these Democratic socialists. My friend has worked hard his entire life and saved his money. He is now retired and enjoying the fruits of his many years of laboring. He recently purchased his second Chevrolet Corvette, which he calls his baby. A friend of his who also owns a Corvette sent him the message below about a conservative patriot who was confronted by a socialist about spending so much money for his car.
“A guy looked at my Corvette the other day and said ‘I wonder how many people could have been fed for the money that sports car cost.’”
“I replied ‘I am not sure.”
“It fed a lot of families in Bowling Green, Kentucky where it was built, it fed the people who make the tires, it fed the people who made the components that went into it, it fed the people in the copper mine who mined the copper for the wires, it fed people in Decatur IL. at Caterpillar who make the trucks that haul the copper ore. It fed the trucking people who hauled it from the plant to the dealer and fed the people working at the dealership and their families. BUT,… I have to admit, I guess I really don’t know how many people it fed.”
“That is the difference between capitalism and the welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people’s pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.”
“When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self-worth.”
“Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value. “
“Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for.”
“This may not be politically correct but maybe that is part of the problem, we worry more about being politically correct than using common sense.”
The next time you’re confronted by one of these brainwashed socialists and asked to explain why you believe in American capitalism, I hope you remember my friend’s response. When confronted with the truth, they won’t have an answer.
