Collectivism Rots to the Core

On June 11, abcnews.com ran a token offering on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) whistleblower Special Agent Taylor Johnson testifying on Capitol Hill. For those unfamiliar with the story, Johnson told the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs that she had faced massive retribution after revealing massive corruption in the EB-5 visa program.

The abcnews.com coverage was brief, but it was far more than CBS, CNN, or NBC offered, which was nothing. In fact, searches of “Special Agent Taylor Johnson” on those websites turned up… nothing. Alternative (conservative) press outlets had in-depth coverage of Johnson’s testimony throughout that week.

The “irregularities” Johnson claimed to have discovered in the EB-5 visa program represent a monumental understatement on her part – not that this was intentional.

EB-5 visas grant green cards to foreigners who invest $500,000 or more in American companies. Johnson, an 11-year veteran of the ICE, told the committee that she found corruption and mismanagement that, in her words, posed “national security risks.”

Some of the violations investigated surrounding the project included bank and wire fraud, ties to organized crime and high-ranking politicians greasing the wheels for immigrants from terror-sponsoring nations.

Shortly after she blew the whistle, Johnson was escorted from her desk and denied access to her case files. The government then informed social workers that Johnson had lost her job due to criminal activity, which nearly resulted in the loss of her 1-year-old child. Johnson was also not permitted to carry a firearm, which was her right as designated by her job description.

We know that the Obama administration is bristling with terrorist-enabling scum, and we also know that both the Democrat and Republican parties are rife with political prostitutes many of whom would countenance the aforementioned corrupt visa processes. It is indeed sickening that the government would treat anyone in the manner they treated Johnson, and despite the selective press coverage, it is a story that needs to be told.

Most readers will be familiar with how stories live and die through a news cycle; it is discouraging that, as with other news items which reflect poorly on the Obama administration, we will probably not hear much more about Taylor Johnson’s.

The chronicle of Johnson’s travails however, got me thinking about another, even more monstrous tale of injustice of which most Americans will never hear…

Last year, I interviewed commentator and talk show host Dave Hodges about a story he had covered quite thoroughly; actually, he was the only person I know of who covered it at all. What stunned me about this atrocity was that it had taken place in the very county in which I live.

Initially, I was chagrined that I had no previous knowledge of this story – but as it turns out, neither I nor other residents of Larimer County, Colorado could really be blamed for that. As is the case with big national news that never was, here, the local liberal elites buried the story of Stacy Lynne, a Larimer County, Colorado anti-Agenda 21 activist.

In 2011, Dave Hodges began covering Lynne’s story. In 2009, Stacy was making public presentations around the county regarding the dangers of the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI). Founded in 1990, it was later re-branded as “Local Governments for Sustainability” – the smiling face for the UN’s Agenda 21 at the local level.

Lynne opposed an elitist scheme by which only “eco-friendly cars” were going to be permitted to park in downtown Fort Collins (the county seat), a twisted ICLEI proposal which would have bankrupted several local small business owners. Lynne also fought against her local government’s attempt to enter into an exclusive contract with Waste Management, Inc., a financial contributor to ICLEI, in which they would haul all of Fort Collins’ trash – public, business, and residential. This would have bankrupted two locally-owned trash businesses and cost the Larimer County community hundreds of private sector jobs.

Because liberals are all about the people, y’see…

Lynne was successful in harnessing community opposition to these botched coat hanger abortions and managed to defeat both of the measures, as well as other ICLEI initiatives.

Her successes made Lynne some very powerful enemies in the community, including a billionaire heiress named Pat Stryker, a major Colorado advocate of Agenda 21 and ICLEI policies. Stryker’s business interests are also incestuously commingled with a group of Agenda 21big-money corporate shills.

They came after Stacy Lynne with a vengeance, but surreptitiously, enrolling an ex-boyfriend into a scheme to strip Lynne of parental rights to her 11 year-old son, whom she’d had with the ex-boyfriend. In January of 2011, the ex-boyfriend filed a dissolution of marriage action and sought sole custody of the boy, despite the fact that he and Lynne had never been married.

Who might have given Lynne’s ex insight into pulling off such a novel and creative, if manifestly evil, legal gambit?

Read on…

It was in family court that Stacy Lynne’s nightmare began. Through a series of “amazing coincidences,” a triumvirate consisting of former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, globalist Judge Julie Field, and Pat Stryker (backed by her ICLEI interests) wound up involved in the case.

“On December 21, 2011, Stacy’s son was removed from her custody by Field. Yet, there was no evidence presented which proved Lynne was guilty of neglect, abuse or any other parental misbehavior that would warrant such an action by any court. In the trial, Field refused to allow Lynne to call witnesses on her behalf, and when the citizens in the court gasped with amazement, Field cleared the courtroom so this miscarriage of justice could continue away from the watchful eye of the public. Field’s custody ruling allows Stacy one supervised visit, every two weeks, with Jaden at [a facility] in Fort Collins where Pat Stryker was listed as a financial contributor. In my days as a nationally certified mental health counselor, I have seen more lenient parental rights granted to convicted pedophiles than I have to Stacy Lynne.”

  • Dave Hodges, The Most Corrupt County In America, December, 2013

The dramatic upheaval of Stacy Lynne ‘s life effectively neutralized her as the Northern Colorado Agenda 21 Mafia’s chief adversary.

Now, I certainly don’t like to think of the place I live as “The Most Corrupt County In America,” as referenced by Hodges in his column. In truth, aside from the massive effort of leftists to co-opt government (which is ongoing in many areas of the nation), it’s still a pretty conservative area.

However, when you have those with the resources and willingness to marshal the legal infrastructure into committing gross violations against one person’s liberties just to facilitate personal aggrandizement and a political agenda, a single act can be the “one bad apple” that besmirches an entire community. The only reason that Ritter, Field, and Stryker weren’t at least investigated (prosecution would have been richly deserved) was due to their status and political affiliations.

Well, that could amount to a county being the most corrupt in America, even if the infection is localized rather than widespread.

One of the things I try to get across to people, especially if I’m on local radio or speaking in their area, is that it’s so important to pay at least as much attention to local, county, and state government as they do the national government. I mean, where do they think the vermin in Washington come from but their own communities?

Additionally, the so-called grass roots organization of Agenda 21 proponents and allied uber-left groups cannot be underestimated. It is they who swung this state, as well as others – and they are everywhere.

Not bad for a bunch of people with no jobs, eh?

Once the governing body of any state party (the people who advance candidates for national office) becomes colonized by progressive apparatchiks for the national party, it’s all over. This is one of the profoundly sad and dangerous developments that transpired in my adopted home state. The Democrats almost didn’t need all that George Soros money pouring in over the last decade; the GOP in Colorado was destroying itself already, through the influence of country club Republicans who support establishment Republicans every time.

I’ve seen them torpedo stellar up-and-coming, liberty-loving, constitutionalist contenders for national office in favor of The Next Old Rich White Guy who nobody in the state likes – and then he loses to some liberal Democrat, adding insult to injury.

Across this country, there are cities and counties like mine wherein a mere handful of people, aggressively promoted, could amass sufficient political power in their states to lock out liberals entirely – if only they would become engaged. Look how important a state Colorado has become with regard to national elections. Who on Earth though that would happen?

It’s a shame that conservatives are so seldom the ones to put these once electorally-challenged states on the map…
