Terror in Pakistan

Christians Targeted for Mass Murder on Easter Weekend [VIDEO]

On Resurrection Sunday in Lahore, Pakistan, a Taliban splinter group, Jamaat-e-Ahrar, claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing that killed over 70 children and adults and wounded about 300. Its spokesman said that Christians were the target on this Easter Holy Day attack.

This mass murder of Christian families by Muslim radicals on this sacred Sunday was headlined and reported in papers and televised newscasts around the world. However, that was not the case in the U.S. State Department’s news release. It made no mention of the Taliban or the Islamic belief system’s brutal aggression against innocent Christians. This is the best they could come up with: “The United States condemns in the strongest terms today’s appalling terrorist attack in Lahore, Pakistan. This cowardly act, which targeted innocent civilians in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, has killed dozens and left scores injured.”

It seems this administration could not summon the moral courage to even describe what obviously occurred at a Pakistani park, where Christian children were playing after Easter Sunday services. Again, the Obama Administration seems to fear giving offense to Muslims, more than it has the resolve and willingness to protect our nation and allies.

Whether the location is Paris, Brussels, Lahore, San Bernardino, or 9-11: the list goes on and on, as does the Islamists’ intent on spreading their faith through vicious brutality.

The dignity of human life worldwide demands courageous leadership that will rise up to defeat the fanatic, jihadist legions intent on global supremacy.
