In light of the Liberal’s unholy fascination with infanticide and the current, radical pro-abortion stance (right up to the moment of actual birth) of the Democratic National Convention and its nominee for President of the United States of America, it is important to review assumptions and alternatives to abortion.
Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards recently told an audience, yet again, that she and women around the country were “so sick of men telling us what to do with our bodies.” Abortion activists argue for absolute individual autonomy. No one has a right to tell her what to do with her own body, or what or who is growing inside it.
This tyranny of the individual callously ignores even the basic assumptions for human rights:
- If it is growing inside the womb, it is alive.
- If it is alive, it must be a human life.
- If it is a human life, it is precious, valuable and worthy of protection, like you and I are!
When Mrs. Clinton’s husband was president, he and other abortion advocates said that they wanted to make abortions “safe, legal, and rare.” As late as just eight years ago, Hillary Clinton also used this phrase; even as she conceded that a mother’s decision to end the life of her unborn child “should not in any way be diminished as a moral issue.” Today, she and her related, radical Democrats no longer see abortion as a “necessary evil,” but have shifted to celebrating it as good for both women and society.
DNA proves the act of abortion terminates the life of a human being. Further, “partial birth abortion”—for which the Democratic president and DNC presidential nominee advocate—barbarously brings all but the head of a fully developed human fetus from the womb, before cruelly killing it. This is something for Democrats to now “celebrate”?
This issue involves more than infanticide itself. It is a “last days” manifestation of a highly sensual society, many sinful lifestyles, and unbridled sexual immorality, – of which we are warned in Scripture.
In the face of these alarming, social realities, let me suggest three alternatives to abortion:
- Choose Life: carry to term and keep the baby.
- Share Life: allow others to adopt and love your baby.
- Give Life: intentionally birth and raise children, to know and serve God.
