The rage of arrogant Millennials is on vivid display in the aftermath of this vote.
Here is a typical headline from Vice.com showing that enraged, arrogant Millennials cannot deal with even family members that frustrate them from getting their way: “Oh My God, Grandma, What the F[…] Have You Done?”
Hey, grandma – what’s up?
Oh yeah, thanks, I really would like a cup of tea that takes you 20 minutes of tinkering about in the kitchen to make because you insist on using a teapot every time – even though teapot tea tastes exactly the same if not worse than mug tea because you are using teabags not loose leaf; how are you a thousand years old and you don’t even know this yet – but yes, thank you, grandma, I will have a small porcelain plate with three pink wafer biscuits on it, thank you.
Hey, so, grandma, just a quick one: what the fuck.
What the f[…], grandma.
Lean your wrinkly little face close to me and tell me what the f[…].
And it gets worse from there.
Breitbart surveys some other headlines:
Headlines in the Europhile press have included: “How old people have screwed over the younger generation” from the Independent, and “EU Referendum Results: Young ‘Screwed By Older Generations’…” from the Huffington Post.
VICE gave us: “Old People Seem Intent on F[…]ing Us Over Forever”, and, “Brexit Proves Baby Boomers Should Get Less of a Vote”.
GQ Magazine went all out, producing: “WE SHOULD BAN OLD PEOPLE FROM VOTING”. Writing about “them” as if the older generations are some foreign species, the reasons given by the author included:
“The EU referendum result will have less effect on older people”; “Over 65s read the Daily Mail”; “There was no ‘golden age’ of Britain”; and “We take pensioners’ driving licences away… why not their right to vote?”
It’s hard to tell where the satire ends and explicit generational loathing begins.
Take their vote away?
It they can’t disenfranchise the evil grandparents, perhaps they can promote more euthanasia. That way they can keep their democratic slogans while killing off their opposition, literally.
By the way, next time you hear the Left accuse Donald Trump of “hate,” remember this.
